Cash payment methods are available by country. Users in select countries can deposit and withdraw cash with a payment method, while users in other countries can buy bitcoin and charge the purchase to their payment method.

To link a payment method, ensure your account is fully verified and follow the steps below:

Bank account:

1. Tap Account
2. Tap Payment methods
3. Tap "Add method"
4. Select Bank account
5. Select your bank from the drop down menu
6. Enter your bank account number

Mobile money:

1. Tap Account
2. Tap Payment methods
3. Tap "Add method"
4. Select Mobile money
5. Select your mobile money network provider
6. Enter your phone number

Debit card:

1. Tap Account
2. Tap Payment methods
3. Tap "Add method"
4. Select Debit card
5. Follow the instructions to link your card

When linking a payment method, ensure the linked account is registered under your name to avoid failures or delays. To verify your debit card, we'll initiate a small, temporary transaction containing a 4-digit verification code in the transaction’s description (STRIKE XXXX). Once you retrieve that code from your bank transaction history, return to the Strike app and input the code by following the debit card steps 1 and 2 shown above. Please note, there is a minimum purchase limit of $25 when buying via linked debit card.

The verification transaction typically appears within seconds to minutes, but may take longer depending on your bank. The transaction will be removed as soon as your card is successfully verified or after 7 days if the card isn’t verified.
